Who We Are
Minnesota Virtual Academy (MNVA) is a full-time, tuition-free online public school for students in grades PreK–12. It is our aim to partner with schools across MN to enhance course offerings and maximize staffing within all districts. We create a customized partnership plan to meet your district/school needs. Our personalized approach to online learning is one of endless possibilities, where learners—no matter who or where they are—can create, explore, and find their own path to success.
About Our School
MNVA uses innovative technology and a rich interactive curriculum from K12, a leader in online education for more than 20 years. Students complete a mix of online lessons and offline activities and are supported by licensed Minnesota teachers who provide live instruction in virtual sessions called “Class Connects."

Our program combines core academics with industry-relevant, career-focusd electives to help prepare students for what comes after graduation, whether that’s college or starting a career right away. Students have the opportunity to complete industry recognized certifications and build connections with industry leaders.
ur online program makes access to early childhood curriculum accessible and easy for students throughout the state. For districts who aren’t in a position to offer early childhood, or want to offer it in a way that allows for more parental involvement, our play based learning program can be a perfect solution for your early childhood needs.
Expand the opportunities for your students to earn credit towards graduation through Work Experience. MNVA is now offering the opportunity for students to gain valuable employment training skills through their current employer and credit towards graduation. Work Experience Teacher's will work with students in completing training agreements, training plans, record of safety, student/employer evaluations, and verify student work hours.
